The Sound of One Hand Clapping was written in AdvSys by Erica Sadun and published in 1993. The AdvSys interpreter is called advint and is included with the game. However, advint runs on MS-DOS, so to play the AdvSys version of the game today, you'll need a MS-DOS emulator such as DosBox.

The Sound of One Hand Clapping was ported to Inform 7 by David Welbourn in 2020 and has IFID B388044B-3C57-478A-9CEC-FF497ECA6E51. To play a work like this one, you need an interpreter program: many are available, among them Zoom for Mac OS X and for Unix; Windows Frotz or Windows Glulxe for Windows.
