Trophy
Room

This walkthrough is written as a straight traversal from the starting location (lower left Maze A) to the Trophy Room. There is a possibility that you will get teleported at random while in some early parts, in which case it's up to you to get back on course. Note that with very few exceptions, it's always good to go east (or northeast or southeast) whenever possible. I also suggest turning on Adrift Runner's map, unless you want it to be more challenging, in which case, why are you reading this walkthrough?

Maze A

If you encounter an ugly troll in Maze A, he may teleport you elsewhere in Maze A.

>n. e. e. e.

Maze D

If you encounter the wizard in Maze D, he may teleport you elsewhere in Maze D.

>s. e. ne. e.

Maze R / Maze I / Maze F / Maze T

The rest of the maze is smooth sailing. There's an alien at the beginning of Maze F, but you can ignore him.

>e. e. se. e.   n. n. e.   e. e. e.   e. s. s. s.

Trophy Room

>x trophy. read it. take it.

The Cat in the Tree

On a Sidewalk
Under a Tree

Curiously, this game doesn't have game objects for the woman, the cat, or the tree. Too many things are done with hidden flags instead of an object model.

On a Sidewalk Under a Tree

>z. climb tree. (Huey arrives.)

>x huey. x ladder. take ladder. lean ladder.

More characters begin to arrive in the next few turns. You need the girl's cup of milk.

>look. x fat man. look. x girl. x milk. take milk.

>climb ladder. climb tree.

In a Tree Above a Sidewalk

>get cat. climb ladder.

Archer Street

The vending machine is not a game object; you may ignore it.

>look. x cars. x gas. x building. x sign. x cord. x man. n.

Destroyed Cafe

The cabinets can only be searched, not opened. The jacket is searched not via "search jacket", but "take jacket".

>x cabinets. search cabinets. x sponge. x jacket. take it. x coffee. s. d.

Sewer

Although the game says "matresses", you can only refer to one "matress".

>x matress. sleep. pray. x tv. x glass. take glass. x shard of glass.

>x slime. take slime. (with sponge in inventory)

>u. n.

Destroyed Cafe

>put slime in coffee. s.

Archer Street

>cut cord. (with shard of glass in inventory)

Trabula's

>x trabula. s. e. e. e.

Middle Bridge

There are two keys in the game, so you must refer to it as "silver key", not "key". The soldier doesn't leave a body behind when he dies.

>x soldier. kill soldier. g. take all. x silver key. x rapier.

>w. w. s. ne. e.

Under the Bridge

>x troll. kill troll. g. take all. x rusty key. x bar.

>e. se. n. e.

East Road

You need the bar to unlock the hut.

>x hut. unlock hut. open hut. s.

A Shabby Hut

CAUTION: The rusty key will disintegrate soon after you use it. However, it is possible to unlock both metal chests with it if you unlock them in succession without a pause to open them or anything else. The steel and wooden chests contain the prizes.

>x steel chest. x iron chest. x wooden chest.

>unlock steel chest. unlock iron chest. unlock wooden chest.

>open steel chest. (Any attempt to open a metal chest makes the rusty key fall apart.)

>open steel chest. open iron chest. open wooden chest.

>take diamond ring. take lead weight. take gold. (None of treasures have descriptions.)

>n. w. w. w. w. w. w. n.

Trabula's

>give diamond ring to trabula. give gold to trabula.

And there the game sort of fizzles out. There's no actual ending. You are "rewarded" but there's no details. Perhaps the author ran out of time before a proper ending could be written.

>quit.

The Quest for Spam

by Whatever

Because this game is broken and incomplete, a walkthrough would be pointless. Picking up the can in the kitchen crashes the Adrift Runner with an out of stack space error, and entering the car locks you into a location you can't exit from.

Shred 'Em

Office

Note: The view of Manhattan, desk, telephone, and paper shredder aren't implemented as game objects. You will need, however, to turn on the shredder, and shred the files five times to win.

>take files. shred them. take files. shred them. take files. shred them.
