Battle of the Planets is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 6 and is © 2001 by Gunther Schmidl. It was a participant in the Speed-IF 2001 event.
In this teeny-tiny surreal game, you play as someone who was in New Orleans but now on Jupiter's moon Io for reasons you've currently forgotten. An Ioan yak and your old friend, Aluminum Hamster, are nearby.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

The hamster is useless to you. The only hint you get for the yak is that it's female. Bah.
