Key & Compass presents:
Doom, Death, Destruction and All That
by Jason Dyer

Doom, Death, Destruction and All That is a Hugo interactive fiction game and is © 2001 by Jason Dyer. It was a participant in the Speed-IF XYZZY event.

In this tiny one-room game, you're attending the 2009 XYZZY Awards. Psmith is about to present the award for Best Game, but then you hear someone mention there's a hidden bomb and the doors are locked. And then you hear ticking.

This solution is by David Welbourn.

In the Garden

You have a limited amount of time before the bomb goes off. You should be able to examine most of (but not all) of the following before the bomb goes off: roses, sundial, Psmith, crowd, seats, stage, gates. You can also try to listen to them, to see if they're ticking or not.

Caution: Trying to leave the room crashed my Hugo terp. Also, if you hit the pinata, the bomb explodes.

> x pinata. listen to pinata. x nose. push nose.

Thank You to my Patreon supporters

This walkthrough is provided free of charge since I wrote this walkthrough prior to January 2015 when I began my Patreon account, and also because the work it's based on has less than fifteen locations (so I wouldn't have charged for it anyway). I've since reformatted this walkthrough to use my currently preferred style. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm still creating new walkthroughs! Larger ones too! Please visit my Patreon account if you're interested in helping me create more interactive fiction walkthroughs. I appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks again.
