Map 7: Dark Forest

When the game starts, the Dark Forest's connections aren't assigned yet. So I suggest just heading east for each new location. The game will remember whichever direction you take.

The game's a little less clever with the Copse. If a Dark Forest location has its next location direction assigned, then going any compass direction other than the two that you've visited lead to the Copse, which is meant to be a dead end. However, once the Copse is visited from the Clearing, then the Copse is locked down too, and can't be visited from the unused directions in the Forest any more.

I can't find any way of using any of the liquids (holy water, fire water) effectively. TXD suggests that the expected way is to open the vial, then throw the empty vial at some monster.

I can't find any way to kill the hell hound.

Note: Tommy likes the compass if you give it to him.

Note: Succubus defeated by taking almost-full glass, then 'toast'. Infinite point bug: you can continue to 'toast'. Also, putting down a wine glass anywhere acts like succubus is still there and alive.

If you shoot the succubus with the rifle, supposedly she dies and the barrier fades, and you gain 15 pts. However, she stays, the barrier stays, and the rifle is still loaded. You can shoot her again for another 15 pts, over and over again.

You can lead Thomas to gunman; gunman will shoot Thomas (+10 pts); Thomas runs off into woods; gunman wants to hear what?

You can lead Thomas to Aurora; she'll throw fire water on him; you and he auto-leave the Shoppe.

Note: You get 25 pts if you kill the mayor via the grill.

Sometimes you will miss when trying to kill the manticore with the dagger.

Can't find the shotgun or handset anywhere. Can't give shells to Riggs; is there some way to keep him alive?
