Manna is a TADS 2 interactive fiction game and is © 2002 by Sam Kabo Ashwell. It was an entry in the Speed-IF 18 event.
In this story where the venue changes almost every turn, you play as three men of faith. As Captain Stilton, your goal is to kill heretics. As Underplonkdeaconmeister Gouda, your goal is to retrieve the Device from its hiding place in the Vault and use it. And as the Ninth Prophet, your goal is to survive in the cruel Cathratocean Desert.

Note: This game flits between the three scenes, but you still have to complete the tasks in each scene in the order shown below. Prayer won't help in the desert until The Vault sequence is complete. Type 'z' or any other command when you are in a non-critical scene.
