Key & Compass presents:
The President, the Democrats, and Smelly Pete
by David A. Cornelson

The President, the Democrats, and Smelly Pete is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 6 and is © 2003 by David A. Cornelson. It was a participant in the Speed-IF Jacket 2 event.

In this short silly game, you play as a president who lives in a white house with some Democrats and a man named Smelly Pete. But today, things will change. It all begins when you're lost in the woods with a large rodent named Rat Rat.

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

Characters

Note: The player character seems to be an amalgam of both George W. Bush and Bill Clinton without being quite either.
